This book is about the early days of the influential Welsh rock band Budgie, covering from the start of the band in 1967 until the end of 1973. 'Back To The Egg' is the second edition of the book first released as 'Budgie's First Three Albums' in 2013.
The second edition has new and rearranged text, including further information about the early days based on a 1997 interview with Burke Shelley. There are also more than 100 new images, including a new chapter with 20 previously unseen offstage photos taken circa 1968/69 by early road manager Howard Coates.
The second edition has been printed in the UK and each copy ordered will be personally signed by original Budgie drummer Ray Phillips.
The book has 221 pages, 55,000 words and 375 images. It is printed in full colour on high-quality 115gsm gloss paper.
